A. Our Members' Edge
1. Why can our members better serve you?
Our members can better serve you because:
1. We subscribe to the ideals of fair estate agency practice.
All our members subscribe to the fair estate agency trade ideals of the Institute, pledge not to adopt unfair terms in their practice, and are held to a higher ethical standard than that applicable to licensees in general.
2. Mandatory Continuing Professional Development activities are a pre-requisite for continued membership.
To retain their membership, our members have to fulfill mandatory continuing professional development (“CPD”) which is not yet a requirement for other Hong Kong licensees.
3. Our members will be provided with regular update on law and practice.
We shall provide current and impartial updates on law and practice to members, so that they can continuously learn – from the experience gained by other members and free from the constraints of the classroom.
4. We are multi-cultural and multi-lingual.
Our members come from all over the world and some of them may speak your language (see language skills on membership list) and understand your cultural needs. This may help you relocate or integrate into Hong Kong life more quickly.
